Key Learning Modules

STCW Mandatory Safety Training (BST) The bedrock of maritime work. You will earn certifications in: 1.a) Personal Survival Techniques: Lifeboat launching and open-water survival. Fire Prevention & Firefighting: Maneuvering through smoke-filled environments and using industrial extinguishers. 1.b.) Elementary First Aid: Immediate response to shipboard injuries. 1.c.) PSSR (2026 Updated): Focuses on social responsibility, including new IMO modules on harassment prevention and fatigue management.
Deck & Seamanship Skills Practical training for deck-side operations: Knots & Hitches: Mastering ropework for mooring and cargo securing. Watchkeeping: Basic bridge procedures and lookout duties. Surface Preparation: Industrial chipping, painting, and corrosion control.
Maritime Industrial Technology (Engine/Technical) This is where the "Industrial" aspect shines, focusing on hands-on mechanical skills: Shopwork & Tools: Safe use of lathes, welding equipment, and pneumatic tools. Basic Marine Engineering: Introduction to diesel engine cycles and auxiliary machinery. Electrical Fundamentals: Basic shipboard circuit troubleshooting and lighting systems.
Maritime English & Communication Using Standard Marine Communication Phrases (SMCP) to ensure clear instruction between multicultural crews during emergencies and docking.
